New DMB CD soon!

Live Trax 14 by DMB will be released tomorrow, 3/24.  I’ve been awaiting this release for a very long time because as many of you know, I’m a HUGE DMB fan.  This concert was made into one of the band’s “Live Trax” series in honor of Leroi Moore, the late saxophone player for DMB.  6/28/08 marked Leroi’s last show and he will always remain in the hearts of DMB fans all over the world.  My family and I attended this concert, and we all feel very lucky to be blessed to see Leroi’s last show.

This new cd will have some pretty good jams including: “Don’t Drink the Water”, “So Damn Lucky”, and “Cornbread”.  All of the songs on this new CD will feature guitarist Tim Reynolds, who adds an entirely new feel to the band.  Tim’s guitar transforms the band from jazz-fusion to rock n’ roll and back again.  It’s truely amazing how the Dave Matthews Band can combine such differernt instruments (2 guitars, drums, violin, saxophone, trumpet, and bass) and create such a unique and versitile sound.

Even if you aren’t a big fan of DMB, pick this cd up because the profits go to support some of Leroi’s favorite charities.  If you are a fan of DMB, this cd is a must have.  Feel free to comment about the cd, DMB, Leroi, or your own musical prefrences.

Remember to check Wind Up Toy for updates every few days!
